Environmental Policy
Ambiflex Limited, who are based in Cheshire, supply and commission building management systems throughout the UK. Ambiflex is committed to minimising its environmental impacts and to improving the local, national and global environment.
As a company and employer, Ambiflex Limited therefore aims to:
- take account of environmental factors in all company decisions;
- use goods, materials and services which are produced, used, and disposed of in an environmentally sustainable way;
- purchase goods and services locally in order to minimise transportation impacts and to support local economies;
- plan and execute company operations to minimise travel and other environmentally damaging activities;
- minimise waste production, and promote reuse and recycling of waste materials from its activities;
- work with contractors and suppliers to help improve their environmental performance and do all we can to ensure that they apply environmental standards at least as high as our own;
- send correspondence, letters, quotations, reports electronically where this will reduce the environmental impact of paper use;
- raise awareness of environmental considerations and encourage good practice;
- meet and where possible exceed the requirements of applicable legislation, regulations and other statutory environmental requirements;
- ensure our policy is widely communicated to all staff, contractors and suppliers;
- review this policy regularly and update or amend it when necessary.
